I played the Oath of Tendrils deck that I mentioned a while back in a small local tournament this weekend.  I ended up tying for first with my buddy.  I only had to scoop in one game because of a major early play mistake by choosing the wrong card with an eternal witness, but I was able to play a good player with WTF-R, an experimental combo deck (sorry, it was not that good), and control slaver.  After sideboarding, almost every player switched in combo - hate cards and because I believed a hunch in that they would do so, I switched my deck into a standard oath design.  Although there are not nearly as many counters as meandeck's oath version (which I also own and like), I decided to enjoy this european version of a tendrils deck, which has more removal and tutors to get needed win conditions.  To keep a long story short, I will mention the changes to the sideboard and keep it at that:

Same sideboard except:
-1 Sacred Ground
-1 Phantom Nishoba

+1 Spirit of the Night
+1 Platinum Angel
