I love the mechanic of Mind Slaver because it brought a new form of control. I'd like to continue that idea with this little number.

Cranial Vise 4
Artifact
3,T,Sacrifice Crainial Vise to take control of target opponent's library until end of turn.

I've got you now!

What would the advantages of controlling an opponet's library give to you?  You couldn't use somthing like demonic tutor it says your library not target libray.  I trully can't think of a use for this.  Even drawing cards you still draw cards from your library not your opponents library even if you do 'controll' it.

Possibly it could switch libraries until end of turn. It could be done; several other cards exist that manipulate one's opponent's libraries or even switch them altogether for all intents and purposes.

It may have to be worded to look somewhat like [card]Shared Fate[/card]. Or possibly something like:

T, sac: Exchange libraries with target opponent until end of turn.
(Lots and lots of reminder text that covers all sorts of problems I haven't thought of at this point). Play this ability only during your upkeep.

Obvious problems are the fact that WotC really doesn't want people to mess around with eachothers cards too much (this might be crossing the line). Also, the mana cost for this effect is entirely too low as is. Lastly, that flavor text needs some serious tuning.

[edit] Immediately upon posting, I realised the problematic situation that might arise when you draw cards from your opponent's library. You'd have your opponent's cards on hand alongside yours. That's a big design no-no. This should be adressed.

The rules do not allow for cards you don't own to be in your graveyard, hand, or library. The closest you can get to this is a shared-fate type deal.
