I don't think there's a card out there that does something like this. Though it's similar to Storm Seeker Haunting Reminder 1  {B} ~ Uncommon? Instant Haunting Reminder deals 1 damage to target opponent for each card that opponent drew this turn. I'd love to see a card like this printed to make misers cringe when they draw cards. Card advantage, I've learned is key in Magic, so I've learned to abuse a player for drawing cards especially with an Underworld Dreams deck. It would also go great with Braingeyser or Stroke of Genius. Anyways, let me know if the card needs any revising, if the casting cost isn't enough or whatever. Denz |

Looks ok, could probably cost less! This card will usually read 'Target player loses 1 life', and if you manage to hit them with this mid-combo or after a Draw 7, then more power to you!. Underworld Dreams hasn't broken anything in years, so I see no reason to push a bit and take this down to 1 mana... it is highly unlikely to be better than Lava Spike, and if it is then the evil combo player on the recieving end is likely to deserve whatever they get!

I'd like to see this lowered to {B} - it's pretty hard to undercost since it's only good if your opponent is winning (drawing lots of cards). Also, it should be loss of life. |

{B} is good, but I'd caution against lowering the mana cost to -- so,  at the lowest. This is a very nice companion to something like Prosperity, Trade Secrets, or Wheel and Deal, not to mention considerably more playable cards, such as Wheel of Fortune or Diminishing Returns. Drawing one fewer card off Prosperity to deal four or five damage to an opponent is some good. Likewise, since an opponent can and often will draw a lot of cards when you cast Trade Secrets, a card that costs just that turns Trade Secrets from a bad card into a good card is probably a little bit too powerful. Obviously, making your opponent take seven damage after you cast Wheel of Fortune or Diminishing Returns is powerful and rude.l (Note, I'm not saying that this card would be too powrful in normal play, but that it's too combolicious at a cost of just .) |

Diminishing Returns is exactly why I didn't suggest . But double-blue AND double-black is sufficiently hard to pull off that it should be okay. |

Alright, thanks for the feedback guys. I guess this would be what the final version of the card will look like so far. You should read the forum guidelines for the correct format for posting cards. In any case, you don't really need to say (common, uncommon, rare). It may be relevant to discuss the suggested rarity sometimes, but that really won't be decided until the card is later put into a set. You should post the current wording in bold, however, and spell "Reminder" correctly.

It's also "loses", not "looses".
I like this card – it's like Sudden Impact (3R, deal damage to target player equal to # of cards in their hand), but better. Nice! It also goes well with False Cure (similar ideas), or Necropotence/Yawgmoth's Bargain (i.e. they draw cards, they lose life...). Perhaps a quote from Yawgmoth would make good flavour text?

I think it needs to be "Target player loses 1 life for each card he or she drew this turn." Otherwise, the way it's worded now, you can draw all the cards yourself and use this as the kill spell.

Cards that aren't the current wording should not be bold. Also, you don't need to make a new post for the current wording--you should keep editing the first post, ideally.
