Land Destruction is an outdated way to win games. Maybe if there was a way to rip lands from a player's hand at instant speed this ability could be used once again.
Nameless Pariah 1BB Creature- Human Cleric B,T, Look at target opponent's hand and choose a land card there. That player discards that card. 2/2
Current Wording Hapless Peril 1B Sorcery Kicker-2B Look at target opponent's hand and choose a land card there and that player discards that card. If you paid the kicker cost, put target land on top of it's owner's library.

[card]Ostracize[/card] lets you nab only creatures, [card]Duress[/card] specifies "nonland" -- maybe you could create a spell that costs that targets only lands. At least it can be played early in the game, when one might expect an opponent to have excess lands. I'm afraid that your Nameless Pariah would never come out fast enough to actually get lands in an opponent's hand. Obviously, my suggestion would have the same problem in the late game, but at least it would be available in the early game. Maybe it could be given cycling as well, to make up for the fact that it would be pretty useless in the late game.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

And the fact that I've never heard of it before is proof that our version should hit basic lands and should have cycling.

Is something like this good?
Hapless Peril 1B Sorcery Choose one- Look at target opponent's hand and choose a land card there and that player discards that card, or put target land on top of it's owner's library. Entwine B
Giving the card a 1cc would make it way better than Enroach.

The problem with entwine is that both effects need to be around the same power level for it to work. The discard effect is a little stronger than Encroach, so 1B is about right, but the land-to-library effect was recently printed as [card]Uproot[/card], at 3G.

Putting lands on top of the library has been strictly green as far as I know anyway. See also: [card]Fallow Earth[/card] and [card]Plow Under[/card]

Yeah that one would work a lot better if you made the land-to-library thing be kicker and not entwine.

Look, you're entirely missing the point, AND ignoring the rules of the forum (specifically the current wording rule). The point is that the land-bouncing effect is TOO STRONG AT , which is why we're telling you to make the base card 1B for the discard and make the land bounce be a kicker (not entwine) and probably 2B or 3B to boot.
