I was once asked on MWS, what the highest I ever finished at a TMD Open was.  I replied, "I've never played in a Waterbury.  I was then called "A TOTAL NOOB!"

Ray,

thanks for giving those of us not on the tournament forum a chance to vote!! I am just happy that i will be in town for the next Waterbury, and I am looking forward to the insanity that will incur.

Even though I know day 1 will last until day 2 I would like to see the later start time to help everyone coming from god knows where. I know when I am travelling the late start is a real boon.

Kerri and I are going to try and make it to do some more video taping Very Happy

Also, Ray:

When you say that the sum of the series is 3, do you mean that the series converges to 3? If not, does that mean we're looking at a closed finite set?

It would be most excellent if you could again help with taping.  Last time you and Kerri did an outstanding job.

Also, I did indeed mean the series converges to 3.

I'll make sure not to lose the pics I take this time....

Ray, I think holding this later is better.  It gives people more time to drive to CT, like Canadians and VA people.

I don't think that many people would lose that much sleep being here an hour earlier. You have to take into account that these are ending way past midnight, and Ray still has another day to run. Starting early will help him, and I sincerely doubt that there will be more then a few people that won't come just because it starts a little earlier.

Plus, people coming from far away usually come the night before to stay at the hotel.

Prizes Edited to reflect update of all TBD prizes.

Also, note that the 33rd place prize is now a PLAYSET of Goblin Games.

Also...thanks to Ashok(Method) for providing another great prize: A set of FOIL JUGGERNAUTS to a random person who goes 5/3 in the regular event.

Also, as the voting clearly shows...the start time will stay at 11:00 am.

Oh...and this thing is over a month away...but that doesn't mean we can't start the trashtalking yet...go for it.

I predict a TnT deck will pwn kowal in at least 3 different rounds of the swiss and then, at least 1 of them will make top 8 and he will owe me $50.

Hi

Aaron and I will be going and I will be taping again. I have also come up with a nifty idea for the feature match area. I have thought of and started constructing a sign type thing so that when you are watching the video you will know who is on what side of the table and what the score, game and round numbers are. I don't know if that bothered anyone else watching the videos but I know it bothered me so I fixed it. The sign should be ready in time.
