Hi.... I was all impatient about posting new cards and not having my older ones closed, then I remembered this in the rules:

Once the 24 hour clock has expired with no issues raised, and you have PM'd Matt to let him know that the thread is done, that thread no longer counts towards your limit. You can start a new one right away.

(Its probably there for a reason)

Seeing that out of my 3 enchantments, only "Tlaloc's Tribute" remains active, Ill post 2 new cards which have been on my mind now. Here's the first:

Urban Sprawl
Land
T: add {1} to your mana pool.
If Urban Sprawl would be put into your graveyard from play, search your library for 2 basic lands and put them into play tapped.
"Not sure about the flavour text... something about man challenging nature and nature always winning?"

The flavour is easy to explain. Its a city that eventually, over time, like all man made things gets overrun by nature.

Urban Sprawl
Land
T: add {1} to your mana pool.
When Urban Sprawl is put into your graveyard from play, each player searches his or her library for 2 basic lands and put them into play tapped.
"It is man's nature to challenge Nature; never does he realize that Nature always wins."

I like it. Its kind of like Darksteel Citadel in Type 2 as that it hoses land destruction, albeit a little.

I think the wording you're looking for is a triggered ability, rather than a replacement effect (if it were a replacement effect, it would be broken). It probably should read, "When Urban Sprawl is put into your graveyard from play, search your library for up to two basic land cards and put them into play tapped."

Now, I think that may be a little bit powerful. One basic land into play tapped or two into your hand may be more appropriate. I like the flavour, though. It feels like it draws from the new Betrayers land, God's Eye, Gate to the Reikei.

Its powerful in the right deck (like Braids for example), but I dont think it is overpowered. It probably belongs in the rare slot of course.

I changed the wording.

BTW, that rule is there because I add cards in batches - it takes a lot less time to add fifteen cards at once than to add one card at a time, fifteen times.

As far as the card goes, the wording needs to be "When Urban Sprawl is put into a graveyard from play,..." Triggered abilities always use 'when', 'whenever', or 'at' (as in, "at end of turn..." and "at the beginning of your upkeep").

Does this need to apply only when the opponent kills the land? It might be too good with sacrificing effects.

Agreed. Imagine having one or two of these out when you Armageddon or Obliterate or something. I'm sure there are many broken sacrifice effects too, that turn this completely unfair and unfun.

The armaggedon point is well taken and is really the only one that makes me doubt the power level of this card. And Ive been thinking that now, after crucible this kind has a high "broken" potential.

What would you think of:

Each player searches his or her library for 2 lands and puts them into play tapped????? I like big flashy effects.

I think it should only dig up basic lands, but having it affect both players is neat. Then it becomes a land version of Veteran Explorer, one of my favourite cards. I say go for it!

"nature's nature" sounds really bad.

neato card. Obviously power issue as mentioned. However, making it a vet explorer land makes its power a little low and will only allegate it to multiplayer land.
