Without wanting to reign down the gods of irony to send me a hand of utter garbage, I would like to officially call out Zherbus at this tournament.  We've played at multiple venues, and yet, I've never been paired up against him.

Plus, I'd like to give this a bump and see who else is going Very Happy

Less than a week to go until the Myriad Games Vintage Tournament!

Preregister now for your chance at a Free Dual Land!

Just a reminder, we'll be giving away all sorts of cool prizes in addition to the Mox Pearl, Mana Drain, and Berserk.
We'll have playmats for 5th - 8th and door prizes including a variety of deck boxes!

I'm definitely up for Bickford's after the tournament.

For those of you interested in winning a Free T-Shirt, we will be hosting the Myriad Games T-Shirt Challenge.

Here's how it works: You play against me in one Vintage Magic game and if you win, you get a Myriad Games T-Shirt (while supplies last), provided you agree to wear the shirt and use it to encourage others to come and shop at Myriad Games. We also request that all players are good sports, especially while wearing Myriad Gear. To help facilitate fast, fair play, you must use the deck you play in the tournament (no building specifically against my deck), and we'll only play one game to allow everyone a chance to try. I'll take players names in the order they sign up (to preregister for the Myriad Games T-Shirt Challenge, email me at vintage@myriadgames.com). I'll play the next available player on the list as soon as we both have time available to play.

Looking forward to a great tournament here at Myriad Games this Saturday.

 Smile

I'm wicked bummed that I will not be able to attend this, fraternity obligations are gonna get in the way.

however, I suggest that anyone in the area that can show up does. The Myriad Games events have been some of the most fun I have been to in the past two years.

The staff is friendly, the prize supprt is decent, the venue is clean well lit, and well organized, and the compitition is tight. Not to mention its a bit of a smaller setting, so it tends to be more of a social atmosphere, and less utterly overwhelming then something like waterbury.

-Plus, Team Maine was formed there, so you are literaly standing in totaly epic history

Double Plus- Free T-shirts, I mean, come on.

anyhoo,
everyone go, have fun, I'm pissed I wont be there.

Considering that Betrayers becomes legal for sanctioned tournaments on the 20th, the day after our tournament this Saturday, I'm leaning toward allowing it for this event on the 19th. Since this is an unsanctioned Vintage tournament, I don't expect it will have too much impact. If no one has any major objections, we'll consider Betrayers legal for play this Saturday.

Let me know what you think.

Yes indeed. We are planning our next event on the 23rd of April. I have not posted the official announcement yet, since we're still finalizing top prize. Barring any other major events on that day, I should be making the announcement in the next few days to give everyone a month's notice. I'll look forward to seeing you then!

Hey All,
I just received the Mox Emerald today so we are confirmed for the next Myriad Vintage tournament on the 23rd. This will be our last Mox tournament since the steadily rising prices of Moxen prohibit this size event at this entry cost. I will post all the event details in the next couple days. We do have a Mox Emerald for 1st, a signed Mana Drain for 2nd, a Berserk for 3rd, and an Underground Sea (or your choice of Dual) for 4th and Preregistration Bonus! We'll also be having a bunch of cool door prizes and a great event.

Looking forward to it!
