In my testing of control slaver nowadays, Yawg Will seems to be a dead card in the opening hand. I've never really liked the three-color builds very much, and the lone underground sea to support the will is an extra card and an extra color in what I believe to be the optimal CS deck.

Unless you are playing Shay Slaver, I do not believe that the inclusion of Yawg Will is necessary for the above reason. Intuition is much faster, can be used as Force of Will food, and can be played very early in the game, as opposed to YG.

In fact, in my testing, I found Intuition to be so useful in the Intuition/AK version of the deck, that the inclusion of 4x intuition makes the deck that much faster.

Decklist:

4 Goblin Welder
4 Mana Drain
4 Force of Will
4 Brainstorm
4 Thirst for Knowledge
4 Accumulated Knowledge
4 Intuition
1 Triskelion
1 Platinum Angel
1 Mindslaver
1 Crucible of Worlds
1 Time Walk
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Tinker
1 Black Lotus
1 Sol Ring
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Pearl
1 Lotus Petal
4 Flooded Strand
4 Island
1 Underground Sea
4 Volcanic Island
1 Tolarian Academy
1 Library of Alexandria
1 Seat of the Synod
1 Stripmine

Intuition is useful for not only searching for AK's. Even without welder, one can intuition for COW/Strip/Black Lotus to provide an insane early game advantage. Again, without welder, Intuition can also be used to search for the remaining 3 AK's in your deck, when you are holding the fourth.

Comments for this build are welcome. I am not yet done testing this slaver build as well as several other versions of shay slaver.

This is one of those things that is so poorly done that even were it in the newbie forum I would lock it.

Yawgmoth's Will -is- the deck.

See: the top 2 decks from the last Waterbury.

Like Kowal noted, this breaks all kinds of rules (especially that "Lack of Content" one). Closed.

Where's your sideboard and why are you running 1 Underground Sea if there is no black to be seen?

I run a similar list without any black. I like the idea and ever since I made the changes I haven't looked back. There are some major differences between our lists and mine are as follows:

-1 Trike
+1 Duplicant
Duplicant removes their creatures from the game entirely while Trike only deals damage (3 at the most) and sends them to the 'yard, where they can be recovered. If you are Welding Trike in and out for 3 damage to a player per turn you are missing the point of the deck.

-1 Underground Sea
+1 Island
No black so why bother to give Wasteland another target?

-1 Lotus Petal
+1 Mana Vault
Lotus Petal isn't very effective in this deck. It may give you another quick mana but that is only if you get it in your opening hand. It isn't something you Tinker for if you need more mana (I was really desperate) and doesn't put you an Island tap away from activating Slaver (the whole point of the deck). Speaking of Slaver...

-1 Cruicible of Worlds
+1 Mindslaver
For the most part your first Inutuition should be for 3 AKs because the third goes to your hand and should dig you into Thirst or the fourth AK. After that Intution-ing for Slaver, Slaver, Platinum Angel usually says "Good Game" considering that you can pitch whichever one they put into your hand through Thirst, which you will see plenty of since your deck is so thin at this point.

-1 Seat of the Synod
+1 Darksteel Citadel
Indestructable is a good thing. It can still be Welded.

Mystical Tutor should be in there too . Having Tinker whenever you want it is a good thing. Late game pitches to Force. Also I'm trying the 1 maindeck Cunning Wish with a board of:

1 Lava Dart
2 Rack and Ruin
1 Shattering Pulse
1 Pyroblast
2 Red Elemental Blast
1 Fire/Ice (not really sure on this one)
1 Misdirection
1 Echoing Truth
1 Darksteel Colossus
3 Sphere of Resistence
1 Jester's Cap

My version cuts 1 Intution (after 2 they're dead; there's nothing left to search for) and the Library of Alexandria. I never really think about the deck with it and don't really want to put it in. The deck has enough draw but uncounterable draw is a good thing.
