Well, I never thought i'd be doing this but I've decided I want to start playing Vintage. I often read about the SCG tourneys, and all these mystical names of things like "Tolarian Academy, Power Nine"...and i wanted to play Vinatge.

I have been playing Magic for 4 years and have been playing competitively for 2. My first 2 years were all about harcasting Crush of Wurms(OMFG Broken Tech!!) and thinking phage was broken beyond belief. I then started to visit the Source now and then and got into Legacy after a short break. My friends got into Legacy too and we played that for a while until a bunch of them quit or just played casual decks instead. I still play mainly Legacy and I recently started with T2. T2 is fun but not that exciting when it comes to combos and turn 2 akromas.

My opportunity came when my friend who has been playing since the beginning decided to stop. In additon, another friend's brother and an old babysitter I had are stopping in favor of D and D. They agreed to give me their collections and my other friend said he'd give me all his older stuff (Alpha through urza block). He has the majority of the cards in the game including power and good Vinatge stuff.

I often hear about decks such as Oath, Stax, TnT, 4cc/Keeper, Contro slaver and have a general idea of what they are about as many have conversions to Legacy. Now, I want to hear as much about Vintage as I possibly can. What are the best decks?, What deck(s) should I build?, Where can I find good lists?, i.e.

Thanks in advance!
