Who doesn't remember the legendary lands from Urza's Saga?  I was so ticked because they didn't have a legendary land for Black or Red.  I've always wondered what they would have been like or what they would do.  So I decided to make my own versions.

Phyrexian Catacombs
Legendary Land
{T}: Add {B} to your mana pool for each creature in your graveyard.

I'm gonna leave the wording as this for now, but should it be equal to tne number of creatures in your graveyard?

Current Wording

Phyrexian Catacombs
Legendary Land
{T}: Add {B} to your mana pool for each creature in your graveyard.

Next up the red one

Slopes of Anguish
Legendary Land
{T}: Add {R} to your mana pool equal to the amount of damage you have dealt to your opponent so far this turn.

Current Wording

Slopes of Anguish
Legendary Land
{T}: Add {R} to your mana pool equal to the amount of damage you have dealt to your opponent so far this turn.

Tell me what you think, are they overly powerful, or not powerful enough, remember they are Legendary.

yeah i always was thinking the same thing and these, while not as strong as the others, might have power issues.

I'd like to imprint My Cock on that. If she handles it right, it makes white mana.

So was Academy. These are ridiculously overpowered. They need to have an activation cost a la Cabal Coffers to even come close to being printable.

Didn't we make a set of these a billion years ago too?

They actually made black and red ones from urza's saga, they were part of the cycle, but they didn't add ridiculous amounts of mana.

We did a few:

Tower of the Wise
Legendary Land
Whenever a spell is countered, remove all wisdom counters from Tower of the Wise and put a number of wisdom counters on it equal to the converted mana cost of the countered spell.
{T}: Add {U} to your mana pool for each wisdom counter on Tower of the Wise.

Soul Chasm
Land
At the end of any turn, put a soul counter on Soul Chasm if one or more creatures were put into your graveyard from play that turn.
{T}: Add {B} to your mana pool for each soul counter on Soul Chasm.

Volcanic Peak
Land
When you attack with one or more creatures, put a fury counter on Volcanic Peak.
{T}: Add {R} to your mana pool for each fury counter on Volcanic Peak.
