Flashback a year, remember when 4cc or Keeper or Decree Of Justice control.dec used to run one of these and what an awesome hoser it turned out to be?
Is there a reason why such a great card just vanished. I think now it would be an even better hoser then ever with Oath and Platinum Angel running around. A vast majority of those decks don't even have a Cunning Wish to get out of such an awful predicament. It certainly is better then flipping an Exalted Angel for the same cost and putting on the four damage beats for mere life gain.
Imagine Landstill with such a card and how useful it would be. It would also allow Landstill to cut some Swords To Plowshares as well instead of clumping up the maindeck with four of them.
I am suprised to not have seen any 4cc or 3cc re-emerge with this card as well.
Maybe I am missing something but maybe I'm not...anyone have any thoughts?

Last fall, I was running a keeper build with 3 humility (1 main, 2 side, but variable by meta). This deck won many matches by a surprise factor, but by the Top 8, everyone knew me as the guy maindecking humility, and were better able to deal with it if I wanted to bring in more from the side. (even if the first one didn't get played)
As far as the current meta, I am sure this card can survive, but getting WW has always been hard to combine with UU on a consistent basis. My build also ran black, so it wanted B early for duress! Ultimately the deck had to be taken apart due to crucible of worlds and its affect on the mana base. Could you do it today with a crucible of your own, and maybe only UW? Maybe, but it will be slow, and maybe not disruptive enough.

it is mainly the ww creating the problem with humility, but yes it is a very very good card. the trick has always getting it into play in the first place. Really the only decks capable of playing it were slower decks such as 4cc and say parfait that took some time to set up and played really reactivly. Most decks try to win or at least gain tactical superiority long before humility can come online or the decks that run it are even set up to do anything.
As for the landstill use, that wouldnt work super great as disk is better really in the build, and stp is generally plenty to deal with things, your other control should deal with any other threats.
Meta wise there might be some areas where a UW build could manage this card well, along with stp and orims chant (scepter anybody?) whether it could still handle drain AND humility is the problem, but if you can build it around say
4 FoW 4 Mana Leak maybe daze or 2 bounce type stuff 2 cunning wish (with all sorts of cool stuff for a scepter or just utility) and like 3 or 4 orims chants for your other disruption (with scepter chant obviously winning games)
This would help get around the UU AND WW costs, it would require a lot of testing and tuning though to get just right.

"Is Humility an underplayed bomb?" Why would you play with a bomb, wouldn't that be dangerous or something?
I hope you're joking. EDIT: never mind, I looked at your other posts. A winnar is u!

I wonder how long he'll last...
At the risk of falling into repetition, I must say that agree with the 4cc being the principal problem with Humility, though yes, it would be very useful if it gets into play.
