Skeletal Dragoon   {B} Creature -- Skeleton Soldier 3/2  : Regenerate Skeletal Dragoon *** Just another contribution toward some mid-sized creatures oriented at combat. I felt as though it would be just a little bit powerful in limited with a converted mana cost of 3 and I wanted to keep double-black in the mana cost. If people feel as though double black is unnecessary, I could change it to  . |

I really love the flavor on this sucker. 2BB seems fine for a 3/2 regenerator, because 2BB also gets a 2power flier, a 3/3 (Western/Eastern Paladin) and at least a 4power legend.

I'm not sure this version works as well. The idea of a Skeletal Vulture conjures up something more like a reverse Modular - it kills stuff and gets stronger because it scavenges the bones to make itself bigger. It's a little on the high side of power, but the 1 toughness probably makes it okay, but the no regeneration clause seems to come out of nowhere, flavor-wise.

I like this card actually. Maybe add another fun ability like "that creature can’t be regenerated this turn and loses protection from colors and artifacts until end of turn".
