Destroy target nonblack creature. It can't be regenerated. At the beginning of your next main phase, add (X) to your mana pool, where X is the converted mana cost of that creature.

So basically it's a Mana Drain for creatures. I hope it's not so broken, as creatures are less played, and 2BB is kinda bad for a mana-generating spell.

Erhm.  It's hard to speculate with a card like this but I can see it giving control even more game against aggro.  4 Drains for the spells, 4 Drains for the creatures... being an Instant, the cost isn't really an issue because you'll just untap and have some terrible amount of mana in the pool.
We know it's very much in Black to drain the essence of a creature and turn it into life points.  But should monoblack be able to pseudo-Mana Drain an Arrogant Wurm?  Hows about a Myr Enforcer?  One of Oath's DSCs?  (it won't die, i know, but I'll untap and have something like 11BBBB at my disposal.)
