Name   Sorcery Target player discards three cards from his or her hand. Cascade Cascade -- Sacrifice two creatures. I liked the idea of multiple instances of cascade: one mana, one nonmana. This is a pretty powerful spell in its own right, but I can see multiplayer salivating all over this one. Should it be  {B}? |

What if it was 2 random discards for 3B? Or 1 coercion, 1 normal? The hard limits are pretty much Mind Rot at 2B for 2 and Fugue at 3BB for 3 (and their arcane counterparts).

Granted, by turn 3-4 (assuming no Ritual) a random discard of 2 cards isn't significantly different from a choice of 2, I have to admit that I don't like the more expensive Hymn. I'd like to see somewhat more skill involved in the card than just doubleup-ing until they are out of cards. Considering that you're probably going to just wipe them out of cards when you use it anyway, does it need to be random? What about they choose one, then you choose one?

There, I made it Stupor+Coercion instead of Hymn. Is the card too busy now? I could make it a simpler discard effect and lower the mana cascade cosat to . |
