Card Authenticity

I'm hoping this is the forum that addresses this issue. I placed it here because if a card is fake than it isn't tourney legal.
I recently purchased a German Volcanic Island. I assumed it was from Revised. When I look at it the card appears to be in 4th edition. Everything about it looks so including the brightness, trim around the picture, and the "1995 Wizards of the Coast Inc."
My questions are, did they include extra cards in sets in foreign languages, were foriegn cards printed differently than English, and finally did I buy a fake card?

Foreign cards often looked different than their english counterparts back then--just compare Italian Legends with English. Your card sounds normal.

The thing that has me baffled is that in every single way imaginable it looks like a 4th edition card except that Volcanic Island wasn't in it. I figured that Wizards would have been consistant with its copyright notes at the bottom of the cards.

Yeah, that's totally normal. And, incidentally, why FBB duals look so much more awesome than if you'd simply taken a sharpie to a revised dual.
Check out ebay
for some more examples.
