Hey all, just have a quick question.  I boughtg a laptop for college and today for the first time I tried to get on mIRC.  When I tried a Norton Window came up, I just glanced at it quick and just clicked ok since the window was orange/yellowish and not red asking me what to do about the port (i've always seen it pre-select to allow whatever is trying to connect to connect if it was a medium alert in a yellowsih box.), but as soon as I clicked it I noticed that what it said was to always block the port that irc is trying to access.  Anyone that has Norton know how to quickly fix it?  Thanks in advance.

I don't know about norton specifically, but there should be some way you can access a list of blocked/allowed services, where you can change something's status.  Try accessing it through the system tray icon.

I hate Norton.  Unless i'm a complete dumbass (it's def. possible) I don't see a simple way to accessing a list of blocked programs and whatnot.  Anyone here have Norton?
