Drown in Despair
{B}
Instant

Destroy target creature if it shares a creature type with a creature card in any graveyard.

***

There isn't a whole lot to say about this card. It's a simple black kill-spell variant. The flavour is that a creature, seeing a similar creature dead, is overcome with despair. Solid in a creature-focused block and probably adequate in a graveyard-focused block. Other than that, it's just an attempt at doing the same old thing in a new way.

***

Current Wording:

Drown in Despair
{B}
Instant

Destroy target creature if it shares a creature type with a creature card in any graveyard.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

Generally weaker/harder to set up than Ghastly Demise, so I feel comfortable costing this at B.  Nice work.

What would you have the art look like?

{T}: Destroy target creature with the same name as a creature in any graveyard.
Familiarity breeds contempt.

My card from the master list. Not that we can't have a one-shot spell with the same mechanic, just that we've been there before.

This is creature type, not card name. I'd say it's different enough to not be concerned.

I don't think anybody's worried about this card. 24 Hour Clock.
