I've had not a lot of play with T1 and I've run across a number of absolutely vicious Stax and Ubastax decks that pretty much lock me down completely.

Are there any effective SBs for Stax fighting? Hehe, I feel like quite the newbie posting this, but then again, I am one. I'd hope this is the right forum.

Things I've implemented against them:
Crucible
Disenchant
Aura of Silence
Energy Flux

But I'm not getting these fast enough. Is this bad luck or a lack of effective balance in my Replenish?

Edit: Seems I'm having just as much trouble with proper spelling

You forgot the some of most effective ones which is:

Rack and Ruin
Artifact Mutation
your own Welder

Edit: I just noticed at the bottom that you said your Replenish, is this the deck you play, if so I apologize for mentioning red cards. Although you really should've mentioned for what deck you meant besides your little piece at the end of your post, it was my fault.

Well, thanks anyhow. I have edited to make things easier. Got any U/W suggestions?

My gobblins don't really have trouble with Stax BECAUSE of the cards you mentioned.

seems to me like you isn't getting it fast enough.

the idea would be to 1> fow their first threat, 2> mana drain their second, 3> play energy flux or something of the same power level. if you don't draw a fow in your starting hand strongly considering taking a mulligan. if you're on the play and isn't getting either fow and/or first turn mana drains enough siding in annul could be a consideration. although I don't know how good it really is since goblin welders and tfk's are must counters too.

Kataki, war's wage....turn 1 or 2 the game is over almost any artifact based deck especially if they only have a workshop in play

and might i sugest playing some form of bonce in the side...great way to reset stax

another great awnser from alot of things including colossus would be confiscate...expecially if your just going to replenish it out.

later...AnArChYb52
