DeathLong Vs. GrimLong

Ok, I saw Smmenen's list on Grim Long. And I have reviewed the DeathLong's lists. So I was wondering which deck do you think is better? why?

GrimLong maindecks Yawg Win, and has more tutors maindecked. But DeathLong has DeathWishes and such so it has wishboard. In GrimLong you can randomly draw Yawg Win, but you can also get it duresses, etc. out of your hand...

So which is better? Why?

I'm just looking for opinions.

I think Grim Long, but Grim Long will die if it remains static.

It requires constant evolution as people learn to deal with it.  The number one thing that needs to change is the flexible Hurky's/Xantid Slots.  If people expect Hurkyl's, you need something else.  If people expect something else, you want Hurkyl's.

I can make GrimLong, but I'm still leaning towards DeathLong kind of...

I don't think there is even a question about it.  Death Wish should no longer see play in Vintage... imo.

Heh. Thanks. I am so out of touch with prices, and wanted to confirm that local backpack retailers will make local combo players pay with pounds of flesh.

GrimLong is simply better.  But in retrospect of Saturday, my MD should have looked like

The number of times I lost a Will to Necro or other means was higher than expected.

Or maybe it was just bad luck, who knows?

But in conclusion, Death Wish has been reduced to a last gasp.

grim is just way stronger b/c you have way more ways to get to will or tendrils
