Playing Abeyance during your opponent's EoT would work, if Eye wasn't in play (and Abeyance resolved).

I'm really unsure why people worry so much about someone else hijacking the stack while you're going off. All you have to do is play it right and minimize anything that they would want to hijack. Heck, if you're using Cunning Wish/Twiddle and UB duals you might as well just do the following:
Cunning Wish and Twiddle under the Eye. Play Duress/Therapy. Resolve Twiddle untapping a land, resolve Cunning Wish getting back Twiddle, resolve Therapy/Duress. Rinse and repeat.
This would strip thier hand of any instants that might screw you up. Now that I think about it though, you could probably just run a Funeral Charm in the sideboard as a Wish target so that you can force them to discard thier entire hand. Which brings me to the reasons I like this idea so much: 1) Your win can be operated completely out of your sideboard so that metagaming is basically switching out silver bullets. I can't even imagine how mean it would be to go: Twiddle, High Tide, Boomerang off a Cunning Wish. 2) Because its just really damn awesome to be able call a two mana instant that bounces a card a "silver bullet"...Suck it, Upheaval. 3) The deck looks like it just won't die. I mean, resolving a Twiddle basically says, "As long as I have the ability to cast 1cc cantrips or Brainstorms to rip through my deck, I'm going to eventually win." 4) As others have said, it has a very small amount of core combo pieces.
Now that I'm done lauding my praise, there's one suggestion that might help with sacking the Rector: Phyrexian Tower. Granted, its just a colorless-producer if you don't have the Rector but at the same time it's more outs.

DeusExArcana: Your idea with Tiddle and High Tide is intriguing. I'm already running Cabal Therapy but I've been reading that some people like to run Xantic Swarm under certain situations but I have to check if that works out because they said that it's useless against Fish. There's also the issue that I'd have to splash green and it's not something that I'm looking forward to.
I just got my EoTS in the mail but it's tough making a deck out of it. I'll be collecting all the guild lands in this set and even though they're nowhere near as good as the originals, I'm having fun drafting this block. Are 6 fetchlands enough fora 3 color deck or is that too many?
BTW, type 2 is trying to break it as well but there's nowhere near as much control and LD in that format. They're running green and blue but I don't think that Xantic Swarm are a good enough reason to pass up on the power of black.

Broken in Standard? Try casting Sins of the Past with EoTS on the board and a full graveyard. I must do this in draft, but it's not likely I'll open both in the same day, along with a bunch of dredge cards and a totally wreck bunch of instants/sorceries.
A whole string of free spells?

In Vintage, though, it still seems too risky. Maybe that's just me...

This is a list that I'm tweaking right now, although no where close to completed I will still post it since I have little time right now.
4 Academy Rector 4 Force of Will 4 Cabal Therapy 4 Overmaster 4 Brainstorm 1 Orim's Chant 2 Dark Ritual 2 Merchant Scroll 1 Eye of The Storm 1 Balance
1 Yawgmoth's Will 1 Timewalk 1 Wheel of Fortune 1 Ancestral Recall 1 Demonic Tutor 1 Burning Wish 1 Cunning Wish 1 Mystical Tutor
1 Mana Crypt 1 Mana Vault 1 Mox Sapphire 1 Mox Jet 1 Mox Pearl 1 Mox Ruby 1 Black Lotus
Land To be decided, after the main board and sideboard are done
Sideboard: 1 Sharazad 1 Swords to Plowshares 1 Crash 1 Brainfreeze Rest to come.
Timewalk = Instant win
I'm considering playing chant or overmaster, although chant takes care of all spells, overmaster protects my key spells and draws cards. Sharazad can weasle you out of tight situations, deck your opponent (Although I'd have to see about that considering the amount of draw I will have myself.)
More to come later!
