Where do you guys find local GPTs?

I'm trying to find local GPTs in chicago but as yet have had no luck. I've tried the wizards.com tourney locator, I've tried google, etc, I don't know. I assume that GPTs aren't as umbiquitous as FNM, but since I've never been to a GPT I don't know how common/uncommon they actually are.

There's this, but I don't see how that's very helpful...

I only discovered a local Legacy GPT when a friend of mine sent me an email notice of it.

But I'm still not sure what to play. Either some kind of Fish deck (metagamed against Goblins) or 3cThreshold. Or I might just say fuck it and play Affinity or Sligh instead. I don't own any of the cards that go into Goblins, except for Vials and Jittes*.
