Just got back from the event and I made 25th place. My Journey started on Friday when I had to go to classes and take 3 test. I then traveled to Umass Lowell to get teammate Craig, then back to Braintree to get Pat and Scott and Dave. We had between us the metagame decks that we expected so we were able to playtest a wide vary of decks between ourself. I myself played CS, Craig Oath, Dave u/w fish and Scott Mono Black. My list is a little bizarre but its been testing very well. Anyway the ride over was getting on the mass pike at 3pm which we all know was my mistake. So after a couple hours we decided to play the magic word game. After about 25 minutes it comes to me and its for an R word and I say "Fire." Everyone looks at me says you ok since I'm driving and its raining. I end up saying ok I'm out and just drive over here. We get here around 7:30 - 8pm and we get some dinner and playtest till 2am. I get up and Try to think what the hell I was doing playtesting that long. Thinking I was going to lose every match I ran this.

Round One I play Paul.
Game one is he goes island sapphire Jet go I go Volcanic Shaman Crypt Eat moxen pass. He was going to cast Gifts on his next turn but never gets another land after his turn 2 citadel. I get the titan to join the monkey and they finish off that game shortly after a slaver makes it safe for me to tinker. I think hes playing gifts since he never drops a welder so I bring in 2 REB shaman and DSC.
Game Two SB for Gifts hes really playing CS the mirror
I go turn 1 or 2 Welder then slave him turn 3 or 4 and he never recovers since he topdecks the Triskelion after I slave him and he drains the slaver and welder brings in back. I will with 3/4 of my deck in the graveyard and he scoops since I have demonic Tinker and Academy.

Round 2 Monkey take on Brassman
Game One
I'm worried since Ive playtested with Brassman a couple times and Know this isn't going to be fun. I mulligan then get some lands going and Brassman does his 1 Island a million artifacts and then severances for no more lands. I play the Shaman Vault eat his moxen. He has no mana and loses after.
Game Two SB as above
We do the land fetch Storm thing and then I resolves tinker on turn 4-5 and Titan cleans out his mana base and wins from there.
I got really lucky with my draws and they were close games as is.

Round 3 Josh Lost the die Roll
Game One
I get A fetch then maybe an island he gets crypt lands tinkers Triskelion goes the distance for him.
Wow three mirrors in a row Woot.
Game Two
Monkey eats mana I thinker for titan he has no mana sources And I swing for the win.
Game Three
Play it slow but Resolve monkey then Tinker for titan after making sure he was low on cards in hand and mana sources.

Round 4 brain who gets top 16 playing Bird shit
Game one
My monkey and his Nimble moose deal 7 damage to the other. I top deck nothing ut lands and he finally hits threshold and kills me with little green guys.
Game 2
I didn't take good notes on this but I get taken down to 4 and stabilize with triskelion and Titan hitting the board and him not getting to threshold because of crypt.
Game 3
I go super broken. Tolarian mox sol ring walk triskelion hard cast by acedemy and Crypt he STP Triskelion I have will in hand deal 2 to him kill Triskelion. He plays a wasteland as his second land waste academy. I will will on turn and replay Tinker which got Triskelion and I get DSC. He loses.

Round 5 vs Jarad
Game one
I get him down to 8 somehow and then he belches me for the win.
Game 2
He tinkers fast for DSC I loss cause I draw nothing.

Round 6
I lose the die roll and I'm playing vs Hatch.
Game one
He has me low on mana and cards in hand via duress and cabal. I topdeck the Ancestral into Lotus and Will and it was late into the game and Academy was i nthe yard and I didn't play a land yet. I put titan on the board and clean out.
Game two
I Mulligan into an OK 6 and I get some draw going and I drain something in a Slaver and into his Yawgoth's Will will with me controlling him. I rid his hand and storm to keep the field ope for my tinker for DSC to go all the way home.

Round 7 Playing vs Dan with Salvager's
Game goes into me draining stuff and getting draw going. I tinker for Titan and Triskelion with a Welder and win after that.
Game Two I make the only playmistake out of all 8 rounds and forget to bring DSC main.
II have Triskelion instead of DSC on turn 5-6 he has blockers and the creature number is in his favor and I lose.
Game 3
I would have won but we started with 10 minutes left in the round. On the last turn I can cast Will Walk tinker and have 4 counters to make sure DSC could go the whole way but time is callled.

Round 8 vs Eli With I think SSB. not sure it won with recoup tinker walk.
Game 1
He gets a turn 3 tinker for DSC I don't find an anwser and top deck a lot of land. for the first time
Game 2.
I go LOA then draw for turn draw off loa volcanic. he goes land I get 2 Volcans LOA Ruby in play. Have drawn more than him and have drain REB. He cast Gifts I drain the REB its fine he has Yawgmoth's Will in hand and goes super broken and I lose.

All in all I never missed Pentavus. titan wasn't that bad, Wish was awesome, DSC should be main so you dont go to time vs Salvager's without Duals. All in all it was a great event and I cannot wait for the next one. CS lives on as long as you care to play it.
