Well... sort of.
My boss pulled me aside, we had a meeting with the big boss, and the general conclusion is that I probably shouldn't have been parking there, but there's no concrete rule against it because the van has state plates.
Actually, the biggest trouble I got in was for not tucking in the parking services shirt

Amusingly enough, since my boss is worried some students might try to get violent (like whatever, one guy thought about it today, but changed his mind when he saw an incoming posse of parking folk) she's letting me do all the really silly easy work, like taking inventory for the sign shop (a room which is smaller than my apartment)
In a way I'm actually kind of proud-- I pissed off the Van Meter residents enough that they had someone camping the window with a camera waiting for me to show up and ass-violate everything on the fire lane.
EDIT: The online version of that article leaves a ton of shit out. There's actually like 5 more photos and a whole separate article that goes with them. I'll see if I can't get access to a scanner and post the clip from the Daily Collegian. I've got it on my fridge right now :p
