All Commons

I am going to a tournament on Saturday, decks have to be entirely comprised of common cards.  Has anyone ever constructed a deck in this format?  Any suggestions on what a good deck would be?

I have.  I used to play Peasant extensively.  It allows 5 uncommons, but some successful decks didn't use any uncommons at all.  Are there any other building constraints?  Are Portal cards legal?  How about Unglued or Unhinged?  What is considered a common card?  Is Ornithopter common or uncommon (It was common in Antiquities, but uncommon in every other set in which it has appeared.)  I have a variety of suggestions in either case.  Assuming Legacy banned list, then Affinity is a powerful choice.  Even without Ornithopter (assuming it's counted as an uncommon), you still have Disciple of the Vault and Cranial Plating.

Would you be able to post an affinity decklist (all commons) for my perusal.  I am not sure if ornithopter is counted as uncommon, but let's assume that it is.

I found a decklist around my old stomping grounds.  I can't vouch for it, but it looks pretty typical.  I made some fast substitutions to deal with the uncommons that were in the deck.  The cards that I removed were 1x Gemstone Mine and 4x Skullclamp.  I replaced them with 1x Darksteel Citadel, 1x Trinket Mage, 2x Cranial Plating, and 1x Atog.

They were common in Mirrodin, just not in Invasion.

You can also run all the Urza lands along with Reap & Sow and Crop Rotation and just plan on putting the Tron together and then Fireballing your opponent away. Since everyone will be playing creature decks, you can run things like Wall of Roots to stall and build up and then clear the field with stuff like Rock Slide or something like that.
