These all appear in my local newspaper. Sometimes it's hard to decide which is worse than all the others.

Professional consulting reviews show that TMD polls have an accuracy of 61%! Vote now!

I voted for Family Circus.

I can recall at least one amusing punchline from each of the other choices, except Grin and Bear It, because I've never seen that.

B.C. I actually used to enjoy reading, before he ran out of material.

Though I admit, Cathy is still a close second place.

I should scan some of the comics from the Collegian.  It would generate some serious crying due to its complete lack of TEH FUNNAY.

My college newspaper funnies are worse than your college newspaper funnies.

B.C.: I used to like Nancy when I was 4, and BC is both randomly fundamentalist and not funny.

This was so hard.  I ended up going for Family Circus because I remember one comic from years ago that was so not funny that my roommate and I spent a good fifteen minutes trying to figure out if there was actually a joke in the strip that was totally brilliant and going way over our heads.

There wasn't.  The comic just sucked that bad.

Everyone likes to hate on Family Circus, but then it wasn't ever meant to be funny - it's supposed to be heartwarming.

Garfield, however, is SUPPOSED to be funny, but isn't at all. It's just horrible. There's only six different strips!

I read that one.  It was hilarious.  The one with Joey being crazy, right?

Yes, but that means it was funny SIX times. That's more than all the other listed comics *combined*.

I voted for Family Circus, because it is spectacularly not funny.

It's not in any papers I've ever seen, but I just looked it up on google, and WOW is it awful. I might have to actually change my vote.

My paper used to run it, but dropped it. It also used to run Curtis, which also was a spectacular failure.

Family Circus.

I remember when I was a little kid reading the paper with my dad on Sunday mornings, I would stumble upon the Comics and read 'Family Circus.'  After rereading that particular pannel like four times, I asked my dad "Why is this funny?" He responded by saying "Son, it isn't, just move on to the next one."

It was a tough decision between Grin and Bear it and Cathy, but in the end I decided to go with Cathy. Mostly because I didn't start muttering "Urge to Kill Rising!" under my breath while reading Grin and Bear it, I just thought it was really unfunny.

<3 Garfield. Give the cat some loving!

Don't know the rest, though. I grew up with Mecki and Hägar The Terrible...

Hagar the Horrible truly is.  If it were an option, I would pick it.  However, since it wasn't, I picked Cathy.  It was either Cathy or Family Circus.  I can still look at the circle in the bottom right corner of the comic section and just hope that Family Circus might pull off a funny.  With Cathy, I don't even try, because I know better.  I read it once and it tasted like bile in my eyes.  That, and the mom in Family Circus is hot.

Garfield used to be really really good, but it's really fallen off in recent years.  It is rather disappointing too.
