Who wants to be normal?

I think normal is relaxing and enjoyable. I still have a ways to go though.

if Im #1, then how come uba masks still only sell for 40 cents? I own over 100 of them, cleaning out multiple dealers selling in the .15-.30/ea range. last count I think I have 21 foil ubas, 8 of them signed. clearly my investment scheme to corner the market in a specific crap rare and force it into the spotlight, has flopped.

It's true. I'm pretty sure that at least $20 of Time Vault's value is based on how cool it looks.

Indeed. Think of yet another Tedin card, virtually unplayable, yet its worth upwards of $150.

Dick Razz My guess was the foil Sol Ring, simply out of appreciation of the fine work of the Alpha available.

Vroman: think of how many Uba Masks were printed.  A lot.  I mean, c'mon, the card was invented to fill a rare slot and the heart of a pack-opener with despair.  No one in WotC expected you to actually play with the card.
Your success just means they're going to try harder next time at printing a worthless rare to break.  Maybe they'll reprint the "-lace" cycle - Deathlace, Purelace...

Had I voted, Ben Perry would have been on that list a few dozen times.  The man is an excellent player, no amount of quitting will change that, and he is just a blast to be around, so long as you're a member of the living.

I will break into your house while you aren't home and disguise myself as a chair. Then I will leave before you get home, but there will be a place at your table where I was a chair and you will wonder why there isn't a chair there. Then later I will leave the chair disguise on your doorstep and you will realize what has happened and you will be afraid all the time. Helter Skelter mother fuckers!

obv. but then again so is your mom.

Juzam's artwork adds like $150 to card value... Imagine how much pithing needle would be worth if its picture was that cool...

I cannot control my opponent's abilities to rip savagely.

They call it Mana Drain. Try it  Mr. Green

First you finish well with Control Slaver, then you start being a "real pro." Man, pretty soon you're going to move out to the middle of nowhere and become a grad student.

Already working on the Grad School thing, Rich.

Apparently, Vintage's two best players have an affinity for a 'dead' deck type.

Isn't that weird?

And I have never even been his Barn.

I have.  I'm not ashamed to admit it either.  Razz

I am ashamed to have had barns without having the decency of continuing to be a good player.

One of these days I will get someone to loan me some real cards and win something again.
