Alright guys, we're almost home free. After this we just have to balance this and get some art. Anyone interested should start working on the art for this card.

Well you heard the man. I'm tired of making new polls just for flavor text. Let's have some more options people!

These are ridiculously bad. I can't even understand what some of them are trying to say.

Oh, I think I figured it out. "he beasts exorcism" is probably supposed to be "The beast's exorcism". No wonder that one made zero sense.

Not that it makes any sense anyway, but at least now it's grammatical!

So it's looking like this little project had a heart attack and died. Well I tried for something new and I hope everyone at least enjoyed themselves while it lasted.

I think the big problem is that anyone who doesn't get their way can just go make their card anyway.

I suppose your right there, I just though this was more of a community thing and that is why I did it.

I will be honest. I'm not disappointed that I didn't get my way. I wouldn't have minded an option I didn't generate being selected. Unfortunately, I actively disliked the idea that was selected. Unlike the real YMTC, we couldn't really afford for a fraction of the participants to stop participating. I quit paying attention to YMTC 3 as well because I don't think it was going anywhere interesting.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

What I basically think happened was that everybody voted for the 'coolest' card in the mechanic vote, without realizing what a nightmare it is when you actually try and make it work. If we do this again, maybe the person running it and a selected few others could prune out problem mechanics from the ability vote a little more aggressively. Anyhow, don't be too discouraged, these things happen. MTG.com's YMTC #3 is pretty uninteresting as well, it's nowhere close to Crucible or Forgotten Ancient in coolness value. About the card: I think we can call this finished apart from the art now - we won't have space for flavour text, given the amount of reminder text we'll need to make this clear (see: Mindslaver). How about simply adding it to the Master List as is?

I have no problem with lack of art. If anyone really wants to do another and would like to be on a sort of board to make sure things go smoothly. Send me a PM. If I get enough input/help, I'll do another.

Nazdakka brings up a good point - no need to worry about the flavour text if it won't fit!
I'm happy to volunteer to go through submissions, although I'll be on holiday and probably away from the 'net from January 15-25 (NB: NZ time, so 14-24 USA time).
