This venue was awesome.  Single table matches 4L.  Even without the 40 people for that guaranteed prize, they replaced english drain for an Italian one and gave those out.  This was a very well run tournament and the best venue I've ever been to.  I had a great time even though I was 3-3.  They are planning on running other tournaments either on a monthly or bimonthly basis.

EDIT:  Eric Becker will be writing a primer on "secret deck" that should be finished, edited, and up on Starcity before Richmond--that is unless he's a shitter and doesn't finish in time because of midterms.

I also really really liked the venue.  I had so much room at the tables that I didn't know what to do with it all.  For the first time, I felt like there was enough room for all the permanents Uba Stax plays.  Razz  The layout of the tables was also great for spectators, as everyone could gather around and get a good view of the action.

I also thought it was well run and the prize support was very good.  I'll definitely come back for future events as long as I'm available.

We prefer the deck name Dawn of the Dead. Wild Zombies is a similar deck that runs Wild Mongrel, Rootwalla, and other cards that are inferior to Werebear and Withered Wretch.

I had a great time at this tournament and the TOs did an amazing Job and put up great prizes. I would definetly go up there again without hesitation if these guys put on another tournament.

Awesome Venue. Those tables were amazing.  I don't know if I will ever be able to play at another venue again after being spoiled like that.

Not only was the metagame very well developed with not many scrubs but the Lotus was in great condition, which always makes you happy after you drive like 5 and a half hours for it.
