Ok, I was thinking about this during the 2x SCG and on the ride home.

I've had my power stolen twice in my lifetime, both times I was doing everything possible to keep them safe but yet it still happened. I've learned to deal with it and I have moved on. (Especially from the kindness of other people)

With that being said, I personally found a ridiculous amount of decks at the tournement both days. I went to the judges tables enough times where he knew me by my first name.

I found Dizzle's deck, Becker(?)'s tendrils deck, a ubastax deck, and a ton of other stuff.  Almost everyone of them had power, duals, ande expensive money foils. Most of them were left on the table for a long period of time.

I know the people whose decks I found learned from the weekend just as I have learned from the past. But the main thing that I want you people to get out of this thread is a reminder that you should be mindful of all your personal items at all times at a tournement. Imagine if the person who found these decks were more malicious then myself, the outcome would have been bad.  Sad

So once again make sure you keep track of ALL YOUR STUFF at ALL TIMES so a fun weekend doesn't become a bad one. (man, I feel like a public service annoucement, wrap your tool, stay in school, drugs are for fools, etc.)

PS: For anyone who finds an item that does not belong to them at a tournement, please do the right thing because you know you would want someone to do the same if they found your stuff.

                                                                                      That Is All.

That's the ONLY time I've ever let a deck out of my possession for more than a few seconds.  There was too much hullabloo at our table and I was showing it off to someone or something and somehow it ended up not coming with me.  It was a scary time, for sure.  I had to describe Dr. Doom in detail to the head judge.  It really did set the tone for the rest of the day, that's for sure...

Yeah I was really wondering about this stuff when it happened, but I was really happy that people returned cards they found. It is an awful thing when expensive cards get stolen and it can really affect a tournament. I was glad to see people doing the right thing at this event.
