Embrace of the Ouroboro
{G} {G}
Enchantment
If a card would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, put it on the bottom of its owner's library instead.

Could be used to prevent decking, or maybe in some odd combo.

That MaRo had the audacity to taint the good name of the Rakdos by including a justification for HoFLong in their article.

For some reason Oath came to mind right away, but I like the simplicity of the design.

I like it although I wonder if there is a combo out there. Should this also get put on the bottom of the library rather than go to the graveyard?

So you are saying that there is no decent combo?

Should this be G rather than GG in order to mirror Black's graveyard 'hoser'?

Yes, exactly.

I think G or 1G would be much more reasonable.

I don't know if it changes anybody's opinion of this card (personally, I love this idea), but a similar card already exists in the master list:

Planar Sanctuary
{W}
World Enchantment
Whenever a card is put into a graveyard from anywhere, shuffle that card into its owner's library.

In any case, I think that's proof that {1}{G} is fair.  {G} would also work, but typically, I think that not being a world enchantment and also putting the card someplace readily accessible make this card better than Planar Sanctuary, so it needs to cost nominally more.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

The Master List also contains my Tome of Ancient Lore:

Tome of Ancient Lore
{2}
Artifact
As long as Tome of Ancient Lore is untapped, players draw cards from the bottom of their libraries instead of the top.

I wasn't going to point that out.  I do not want that to stand in the way of this card. Smile

I understand. Infinite Ancestral Recalls and Time Walks is a bit much...

Three card combos are not a danger to Vintage, especially given the fact that 2 of the cards don't help you set up the combo (Vamp Tutor for example becomes rather weak). Remember there is already a couple of Green creatures that put stuff on the bottom of your library, so making this card does little to break Tome of Ancient Law.

It does, however, suggest that the original CC of GG may be a good idea, although I think I'd prefer 1G instead.
