So,I think this is my first Post in this Forum, but anyways,i hope my English is good enough.
I want to discuss my Blue-White fish,because i played U/R Fish for some time. And Tinker-Colossus is a auto-loss.
And that sucks,because everyone plays Tinker-Colossus as a Alternative-Kill or even Main-Kill.

I saw the Top8 from Barcelona. A U/W Fish on the first place. So i decided to Build that deck. I buyed myself a Ancestral Recall,so i modified the Build.

it looks like this:

// Lands
    4  Flooded Strand
    4  Island
    1  Plains
    4  Wasteland
    4  Mishra's Factory (4)
    4  Tundra
    1  Strip Mine

// Creatures
    4  Cloud of Faeries
4  Ninja of the Deep Hours
    4  Meddling Mage

// Spells
    1  Crucible of Worlds
    1  Lotus Petal
    3  Null Rod
    3  Daze
    4  Force of Will
    2  Misdirection
    3  Standstill
    4  Stifle
    4  Swords to Plowshares
    1  Ancestral Recall

You can find the original build at: http://www.morphling.de/top8decks.php?id=351

I cut the 3 Annul and added a third Standstill and the Ancestral Recall.

My Meta has got a lot of Combo-Deck like the U/B Tendrils("Horden-Tendrils", Tobe is the deckpilot),GrimLong,Gifts,TPS.
And each of these decks except U/B Tendrils abuse Dark Confidant as a very strong Draw-Engine. I was really surprised how good dark Confidants really are,but i don't play U/R Fish anymore. So,the only possibility beside Swords to Plowshares to kill these Dark Confidantts are icatian Javelineers, but i don#t have enough free slots in my deck.Stormscape Apprentice is good, too, but i think Tinker-Colossus is disappearing slowly from these decks, but Confidants need to be handled.Otherwise the opponent will gain a huge cardadvantage.

Anyways, this is the decjbreakdown from the last tournament in Karlsruhe. I use Karlsruhe as my Metagame, because i never lost err,i meant played elsewhere.

1. UBG Oath
2. UB Horden Tendrils
3. UBR Gifts
4. UBG Oath
5. UR Stax
6. UR Stax
7. EBA
8. EBA
9. UB Tendrils
10. UBR Gifts
11. UBR Slaver
12. UR Stax
13. UB TPS
14. UB Grim Long
15. UBR Gifts
16. UBG Oath
17. 5c Oath +
18. Mono-R UBA Stax
19. UBR Slaver +
20. RG Goblins +
21. UBR Gifts
22. UBG Oath +
23. UBR TPS
24. UBG Oath +
25. UB Conidant Control

So,a lot of Combo and the Retiree-Deck Oath.

So now a don#t know how i should modify the Build, because there are many possibilities like:

Kataki,Wars Wage(Stax won't be a Auto-Loss,and he may be nearly as good as Null Rod,but Lava Dart etc. makes it vulnerable)

Javelineers(as is said,Confidants need to be handled)

Annul(very good against Stax, one of the hardest matchups. Even good against Oath and Combo..Annul Lotus,Bargain,Necro...mybe unterestimated)

But anyways, how would you build this Deck? The Forums in Germany nearly seem to be dead,i dunno.

Any suggestions and/or questions?

I've Never Liked Cloud of Fairies.  They get countered too much, and thus end up costing you a huge drop in tempo.  Try Flying men, they give you the same help, with less risk of counter magic.  In general It looks like your creature base Is a bit light, and your "free" counter base looks a bit heavy.

4 Force
3 Daze
2 Misdirrection

Is a bit too much for fish.  You don't typically need to win counterspell wars, so Misdirrection is rather useless.  You can basically afford to loose those counterwars over your small creatures.  I would say, from what you say about confidant, your best answer is old man of the sea.  he is crazy good for just winning against other fish decks.  Also it lets you swing those confidants in your favor.  He also steels welders.  If your against oath or something he is a 2/3 beater for 3 mana wich is nothing to be proud of, but its not too shabby.  I think as a bear minimum ...
2 Misdirrection -> 2 Old Man of the Sea
... will improve your games in that meta.

Also your sideboard should definately include Sacred Ground, and Extract, and likely some more Old Men.  having 3 old men will give you a good matchup against EBA.

I know Cloud of Faeries are bad. VERY bad.

Old Man of the Sea? No,never, with CC3,he's too expansive. And is don't want to pay about 30 bucks für 1 of them(so,they are even expansive in RL).

No,I thought much more about Icatian Javelineers. Sure, stealin Confidant or Meddling Mages against EBA is strong, but like i said,3CC is too expansive and he will get StoPed immediately.

Icatian Javelineers makes it possible(beside Stormscape Apprentice) to bring in a Ninja in the second Turn(and there is a little Synergy. A Javelineers without a counter will get e new one). But that's not THAT important.

I made the following changes:

-4 clouds

+4 Stormscape apprentice

-1 Lotus petal
-1 Misdirection
-1 Ninja of Deep Hours

+3 Icatian Javelineers

I would probably not cut a ninja, esp. if your adding +7 1cc creatures.

I would take out that other misdirrection.  I'm not sure why you think you need the misdirrecion.  What do you find yourself useing it on? Swords to plow? Winning Counter wars?  I think generally paying two cards to save one fish card is not going to win you any games.  It's just better to play more threats.

I got severly beaten on MWS today by a guy who ran weathered wayfarer.  He also had mishra's factories, wasteland/strip, and at least one crucible of worlds. I thought it was a pretty cool idea, so I thought that I would pass it on.
