So, I really wanted a (very) casual deck that wins with most of the time hardcasted Leviathans and Polar Krakens. This is the deck I came up with. Its not supposed to be the most powerful thing in the world, but what would work really well for it? Any thoughts?

Creatures:
4 Budoka Gardener
4 Coiling Oracle
4 Polar Kraken
2 Leviathan

Spells:

3 Cytoshape
4 Show and Tell
3 Capsize
4 Counterspell
3 Memory Lapse
3 Temporal Spring

Lands:

13 Island
11 Forest
2 Thawing Glaciers

Yeah, so what I need is a way to make it a little faster, and maybe some midgame strategy. Anyone have a way to make this deck any good?

Crucible of Worlds and Asuza, Lost But Seeking could help offset all the land loss.  With Asuza, cards like Gush, Meloku, etc can make appearances.

I like Azusa and Gush, but if I put Meloku in here, it would no longer be about the Krakens. Also, Crucible is a card I detest, but I can see its usefulness in this deck.

I made a casual Budoka Gardener deck once.  It had 4 STE, 4 Kodama's Reach, 4 Journey of Discovery, 4 Gardener, 4 Rampant Growth, and more land thin.  I consistently fetched all the lands out of the deck (20) by turn 6, and i was making huge elementals and hardcasting Kamigawa block Dragons.  It was fun.

If I were to use Leviathan in a deck, I'd have to pair it with Qurion Ranger.  Ranger would be able to untap a mana elf/bird to get the big guy out, then untap leviathan when you go beats.  I'd also have to run berserk Leviathan too, which is a party.

I think I would have to add sacrifice and Drain life because doing that to a Polar Kraken is just amusing.

Ok, on a half serious note, You could always add Temporal aperature just for a lil bit of an engine, plus you can always get lucky and hit one of the fatties.  Not so good with the counters though.
