Origins this year

Whats with Origins this year.  I just checked the event schedule and they have a grand total of one vintage tournament and one legacy tournament.  Seems really lame.

All the cool kids will be in either Japan or the Double SCG event at that time anyway.

Wizards has abandoned Origins.

that really sucks, I've always like Origins.  Anyone know why wizards ditched out?

I've heard lots of reasons why.  I heard that wizards was treated really poorly last year - so they've completely abandoned it, maybe, in the hopes of buying it after Origins fails.

yeah I bought a badge without even looking at the schedule.  Then I looked at the schedule and I was shocked to find so little Magic.  I canceled my badge today.

My father and I have been going to Origins together for the past decade or so. Sad to hear that there won't be much Type One there, but I still love it too much not to go. I doubt I'll be bored.
