Tournaments very often start early in the morning.  After taking your morning coffee, I find during the drive over, I need some really good driving music to prepare for mentally and to help wake me up.  Right now I'm alternating between Disturbed's The Sickness, or this mix:
Quote
Rolling Stones - Paint it Black
Crystal Method - Matrix Lobby Scene
Rage Against the Machine - Wake Up
Jem - 24
Kasabian - Club Foot
Metallica - The Unnamed Feeling
VAST - Touched
Overseer - Skylight
Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up
Rob D - Clubbed to Death
Rob Zombie - Dragula
Metallica - My World
(Some random techno I have called 'X-Men Theme'; if I send this to you can anyone identify it?)
Metallica - Master of Puppets

Anyone else have really good music to get them up and going before and during a tournament?

Often something by Wu-Tang Clan, NWA or Public Enemy. Geto Boys is still so solid it hurts.

Look up "The Fluffer" on MySpace.  They are from L.A., California.

It won my 12 year old (now 13 year old) teammate a Mox Sapphire.

No Joke.

For some reason I really enjoy the Jay Z and Linkin Parks "Numb/Encore"  or some "Road House Blues" from the Doors.

Either of the Guilty Gear soundtracks.
Anything by the Black Mages or FF3-6 music wise, including the OC remixes.
Anything from the Dancemania Speed series
System of a Down - Pretty much any of the early stuff

Once upon a time, the Team Hadley soundtrack included the theme from Terminator 2.

That was good times.

Right before a tournament, I listen to:

Sick Of It All - Force My Hand (soooo relevant)

...and afterwards, to:

Slapshot - I Knew I'd Lose (even more relevant ;-)

BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord:
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightnings of His terrible swift sword:
His truth is marching on.

CHORUS--Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.

I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps;
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps:
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps:
his truth is marching on

CHORUS--Glory, glory, hallelujah, &c.
His day is marching on.

I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel:
"As ye deal with my contemners, so with you my grace shall deal;
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel,
Since God is marching on."

CHORUS--Glory, glory, hallelujah &c.
Since God is marching on.

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat:
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat:
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! be jubilant my feet!
Our God is marching on!

CHORUS--Glory, glory, hallelujah, &c.
Our God is marching on!

In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me;
As he died to make men holy, let us die to make men free,
While God is marching on.

CHORUS--Glory, glory, hallelujah, &c.
While God is marching on.

Only when I listen to it I replace all references to god with references to myself; once one does that, I find that it is a very comforting and inspiring song.

I would make the following changes:

BATTLE HYMN OF THE FORCEFIELDED ONE.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Forcefielded one
He is trampling upon the Vintage scene at your local store
He hath loosed the fateful lightnings of His terrible swift sword:
FFY's awesomeness is marching on.

CHORUS--Glory, glory, Mystical Tutor!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His echoing truth is bouncing Karn.

I have seen Brian in the watch-fires of a hundred circling Welders and Shamans;
They have builded Him a Mindslaver in the evening dews and damps:
I can read His righteous sentence decreed by angry Duplicants:
His Titan has cleared your board

CHORUS--Glory, glory, Vampiric Tutor, &c.
His day is marching on.

I have seen a fiery Wish upon a topdeck that was peeled:
"As ye deal with my contemners, so with you my Tendrils shall seal the deal;
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the newbs under his heel,
Since FFy is marching on."

CHORUS--Glory, glory, hallelujah &c.
Since God is marching on.

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat:
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat: (table one, obv)
Tinker for Sundering Titan is really hard to beat.
Our FFY is marching on!

CHORUS--Glory, glory, hallelujah, &c.
Our God is marching on!

In the beauty of the lilies Brian was born across the sea,
With a glory in His Slaver deck that transfigures you and me;
As he died in game one, but pulled out games two and three,
FFY is marching on.

CHORUS--Glory, glory, hallelujah, &c.
Crucible and Strip Mine are really strong

In addtion

Blue Oyster Cult 's (or the Mutton Bird's cover) of Don't Fear the Reaper

or,

ELO's "Showdown"
