I was just wondering how many people would come to a legacy tournament held in the Chicago Area for [insert expensive card here] along with other good prizes for 2nd-4th or through the rest of top 8 depending on attendance. It would be held sometime in June that does not conflict with other events. It would start at noon and mostly be on a Saturday but not definite yet. Entry would be $15-20. The prize and location will be finalized once I get some feedback. Please post or IM your thoughts, comments, questions, and if you would be interested in attending this event. My AIM name is Mudx456.

It is quite possible if held in that time period that you could see a team or two from Michigan attending.  I am always up for a roadtrip.

I'm sure as long as turnout is expected to be high and the prizes are good that my team would try and show up.

I'll probably be in regardless. If you get it in June, I'll be there since I'll be in Chicago until June. Otherwise, I'll find some way from Michigan to make it back to play at a large-ish Legacy tournament. It seems like you'd have at least the guys from CoD, plus random others from the area, plus people who see an announcement here and drive, plus some vintage players who don't have anything better to do that weekend. Should be good attendance.

Name the weekend besides the 10th and 11th, there are a few of us west of Chicago who would enjoy it.

I've gotten a good amount of response from people so I gone ahead and finalized some info. The Tournament will be held at the College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn,IL. Due to scheduling difficulties it looks like it will be held on Saturday July 1st(let me know if this is a big problem for any of you). Entry will be $20. 1st place is looking like it will be a Bazaar of Baghdad or a Library of Alexandria, 2nd 4x Volcanic Island, 3rd 4x Force of Will, 4th 4x Polluted Delta. With more prizes to the rest of top8 like Old Man of the Sea depending on attendance. I will make a new Tournament announcement once every detail is absolutely confirmed. Thx for the  good response and I hope this gets a good turn out so we hold more big legacy tournaments in our area.
