This is a non sanctioned Vintage (Type 1) tournament.

Up to 10 proxies are allowed
(And Up to 5 more for a $1 each... thats 15 total)

Winner gets a Mox Jet

Other prizes included and will be dependent on attendence.

This is our second mox event this summer and there will be more mox events every 3 weeks.
Our last one, when we gave out the mox sapphire had 21 players.

That's not true any longer, I remember long ago the first tournament he ran had house rules, but now he goes by dci floor rules.  This place is a great place to play, the only downside is missing high stakes poker on GSN and monday night raw...

No. No, that didn't happen.

Seven people showed up, and the TO announced that he would not be giving away a mox.

I really wish that there were some minimum threshold for attendence printed here. If that were the case, I'd likely have not gone. Driving to Brockton isn't really worthwhile without a guaranteed prize, which I assumed the prize to be based on the announcement.

As for his decision not to give away a Mox, the TO said, "I have to think like a businessman."

The TO did give away a Drain in a tourney with a smaller entrance fee. I didn't make top four, as I was sort of on tilt and not playing my best.

John Thorne here TO for The Wizards Duel just thought I would do a little damage control.

   To DOOMHEAD we havent had those rules in like forever and a day hopefully you will give us a chance to show you a good time with our new policies this decade. DCI floor rules all the way! (please obey them see foreign language card rules.) 
 
   To JUGGERNAUTGO for noticing this and helping get the word out. Thanks man you are cool!
 
    Also all policies for Type 1 tournaments are now voted on and decided by our Type 1 players.
    they will decide if there are time limits on top 8's

   To THE ATOG LORD our apologies that things did not go as planned but we have never had so bad a turnout as what happened on the 19th.   I did not feel that (with less than 8 players) any other store would have done things differently.  Hopefully with the advice we got from the players that night on better pricing and prizes we can do better by you next time.  Sorry for not having given a minimum (players required) but that is a double edge sword because a lot of people (yourself included...you said it not me...) just will not go if there is a minimum required. 

  To Patrick Broderick congrates on winning the $10 entry mana drain we did instead. 

 We will do better next time, please look for our next mox tournament announcement!
