The article doesn't actually call Brassy the best Vintage player in the world. It features a little box in the corner saying, "Best Vintage Players" and has an interview with Brassman. It also lists the top ranked Type One players -- not that Type One rankings mean anything. Except maybe in Europe, where they play without proxies, and where I'll be until the day before Waterbury.

For some people rating still means something over here, but personally I couldn't care less. All it gets you are bragging rights and I don't really care about those either, since they don't qualify you for anything. I'd rather fool around with new deck ideas and every once in a while win something.

I heard that Chuck Norris was, is, and will always be the best Vintage player in the world.
Also, inquest had ridiculous combo articles saying that Nekretaal + Dragon Mask was an amazing combo, along with shrieking drake and Ball Lightning.
Not to take anything away from Andy, who is bested only by Chuck Norris.
