I'm pleased to announe that me and a friend are starting up a Legacy scene in Oxford. British Legacy seems extremely thin on the ground, so it seemed like the thing to do would be to fix that! This tournament is a trial - if all goes well and interest is strong we will look at moving to a more suitable venue and expanding the prize payout.
Sanctioned Legacy Tournament

Location: The Fox and Hounds pub, south Oxford. Postcode: OX1 4TJ.
Date: Saturday 2nd September
Time: 'Doors open' 12 noon, tournament starts ~1pm.
Format: Sanctioned Legacy
Prizes: 4 x Taiga (first place) + booster prizes dependant on attendance.
Entry Fee: £8.
We anticipate 5 rounds cutting to the top 4. If numbers dictate, this may be changed.
Numbers: The venue is an ordinary pub, so if we get more than ~16 people, we could have problems fitting everyone in. We'd appreciate people letting us know if they intend to come, so we have some forwarning of any space problems! PM me to let us know, or email

From the A34 (South): Get off at the first Oxford exit, and turn right at the roundabout. Follow the dual-carriageway to the next roundabout and turn left. The Fox and Hounds is ~300m on the right.
From the M40/A40 (East): Get off the M40 at junction 8, signposted Oxford. Stay on the A40 until you reach a roundabout, where you turn left. Follow the dual-carriageway for some distance through Cowley, and go straight on at the 1st roudabout. At the second roundabout, turn right to stay on the ring-road. At the third, turn right and The Fox and Hounds is ~300m on the right.
From the M40/A34 (North): Leave the M40 at junction 9, signposted Oxford. Follow the A34 South around the West of Oxford, until you must leave the A34 to stay on the Ring Road (4th and final Oxford exit, by my count). Get off there, turn left at the roundabout. Follow the dual-carriageway to the next roundabout and turn left. The Fox and Hounds is ~300m on the right.
From the A40 (West): Follow the A40 to the first Oxford roundabout. Take the
first exit at the roundabout (this is quite counterintuitive), and follow the dual-carriageway for a short distance. Turn left at the roundabout onto the A34 South, then stick with that until the third junction (the same one as from the M40/A34). Get off there, turn left at the roundabout. Follow the dual-carriageway to the next roundabout and turn left. The Fox and Hounds is ~300m on the right. (From the when you get on the A34 this is the same as from the M40/A34 (North))
From the A420 (South-West): Follow the A420 toward Oxford. When you reach a large roundabout, turn right onto the A34 South. Take the second junction off the A34, staying on the Ring Road (the same one as from the M40/A34). Get off there, turn left at the roundabout. Follow the dual-carriageway to the next roundabout and turn left. The Fox and Hounds is ~300m on the right. (From the when you get on the A34 this is the same as from the M40/A34 (North))
