So, if anyone has talked to "cancerstix" recently, tell him to please update us. I speak for C.H.U.M when I say, we would be willing to run the tournament at panda but we need all the info. If I see enough responses then I will just forget trying to get a hold of "cancerstix" and we will start setting things up: Determining prizes, dates, and such. Please, if you are from the area, let me know what you think for August. Also, if someone could give me all the existing tournament dates in august so we don't cause conflict....(Regionals in June). Thanks a lot guys and hopefully we will work something out.

I don't know of anything planned? If you want to post something and we can play for cards we throw in/respect/cash I'll be there in August (or anytime that isn't Gencon really), as would some others. Pick a comfy date, and put it up here. For that matter choose any shop. I know a store owner that would do packs/store credit as prize support if you wanted to drive up to Flint (about 40 minutes), if you'd prefer someone else set it up.

I was most dissapointed when the Legacy events fizzled out here.  We get respectable turnouts and I would love to see more events at RIW or Pande.

Ok, I am going to call panda in the next couple days and see what we can get going. Why don't you guys start thowing out prizes ideas and Saturdays in which you are available in august so when I call I have a vague idea of when and what we want to accomplish.

I would love to come up from Columbus for a tourney. I am planning a trip to Windsor (I just turned 19) and would gladly include Legacy in my weekend of booze, gambling, and fornicating. Wink

Awesome, we usually get around 20 people and the prizes are usually a set of duals for first/something of equal value. Definitely worth it. Wink

Usually this is a PM thing but as an update for everyone in the MI area:

I have no heard anything about future MI tourneys.  I haven't been too concerned lately because of my preperations for Gencon but one of my teamates recently went to check on tourneys and with no news returning I am assuming no news is bad news.

Well, seeing as those damned terrorists managed to fuck everything up again, I won't be going out of town.  Would you guess that on the SAME day as I was planning on leaving for LONDON, we uncover the plot.  Though, I guess I should be thankful.

I'm probably going to be at Pande on Saturday, anyway, 'cause I haven't played magical cards in a while.  Tournament or not, I'd be up for playing some casual Legacy.

Who's up for it?

*edit* I will be at Pande on Saturday, around 2.00.  Dan (cancerstix) is coming as well.  You guys better show up.

Just to let you all know, the next event scheduled at Pande will be Saturday, September 2nd.  Yes we realize that it's Labor Day weekend.  No, we don't care.  Scheduling has been a complete pain in the ass for the last several months due to vacations, other tournaments, and large events for other games.  September is no exception.  It would have been the 9th but we had to bump it up to accommodate the Kettering Lotus Tournament!  I'll post up the details as soon as I have the prize structure from Brandon.

In other good news, there has begun to be a pretty consistent showing of 4-5 players for weekly Legacy at Pande on Thursday nights.  There are guys coming from Jackson, MI to play!  So you gentlemen who quit coming, or never showed up in the first place, can bring your butts down and actually get some testing/small tourneys in.  It's sanctioned at 8 players and a dual land gets thrown in to the prize pool.
