This is our first proxy tournament ever.  If the turnout is good then I will hold more.

FORMAT: Vintage
WHEN: Sunday, October 1st
TIME: 11:00 am
DECK REGISTRATION: 9:00 - 10:30 am
ENTRY FEE: $25.00

By popular demand, Black Gold will hold its first Vintage Proxy event on Sunday, October 1st. The format will be the same as our Vintage Extravaganza tournaments but this time players are allowed to "proxy" up to 15 cards total in their deck. This will put all players on a more level playing field and a chance to win an ALPHA MOX SAPPHIRE. 

PRIZES: Based on at least 25 participants.
1st place -ALPHA MOX SAPPHIRE.
2nd - 4th place each wins a dual land (whatever the store has at the time).
A cool Vintage quality card valued at $20 or more will be given (via lottery) to a player NOT making T8.

If over 25 participants.....100% of those entry fees will go toward prizes.
If less than 25 participants.....Carl will figure out something cool (maybe a lower priced Mox to be purchased through eBay)
Either way, all the $$$ from entries will go toward prizes.

Alright Colorado Type One players unite, let make sure to get this thing above 25 people!
As far as I know the Colorado Crew will be in attendance and the Vintage World Champion Travis Spero is planning on bringing the beautiful new Mox Pearl original artwork (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgevent/vintage06/welcome) to this shindig. So there is a little extra incentive to attend! See you there.

Wow, looks like Travis's win at Gencon really spurred up interest in Vintage again in Colorado.  I was starting to think things had disappeared over there...
