This card might be -- in fact, probably is -- way too good. Anyway, here we go. This is a card that abuses white's ability to win and lose games. It is styled after Energy Field. The drawback made it into green.

Alternate Universe
2 {W} {G}
Enchantment

If you would win the game, instead you lose the game. If you would lose the game, instead you win the game.
You can't be the target of spells or abilities controlled by you.
Your mana pool does not empty.

The line about untargetability actually would suit white too, if you compare Ivory Mask and Solitary Confinement. However, the last line ("Your mana pool does not empty.") would suit green. Although, I think it might be more appropriate to say something along the lines of "Unspent mana abilities you play don't cause mana burn" instead, as that allows you to build up as much mana as you want - a one-sided Upwelling with Ivory Mask built in is great, and considering it's W/G, it's easy enough to get rid of it when you're ready to win the game.

First of all this would be broken with Final Fortune, which does not target. Secondly, is your intention also to prevent you from losing the game from loss of life? Also, if your intention is to prevent mana burn, not having your pool empty is way too powerful a way.

Here's some modifications:

Alternate Universe
{2} {W} {G}
Enchantment

If you would win the game, instead you lose the game. If you would lose the game, instead you win the game unless your life total is less than 1. You can't play instant or sorcery spells and you don't take mana burn.

Perhaps this is missing your original intention, though - let me know.

Originally, I wanted to do something like "If you play a spell, sacrifice ~." but there was a problem that it becomes a race to who can mana burn the fastest unless your opponent is running a burn deck. I was really just trying to avoid a card that would create a game of "mana burn oneself to death and then at the last second your opponent breaks Alternate Universe and kills you with Lightning Helix".

Then you want to do the Sakuran route and say that "Mana abilities you play don't cause mana burn" or something equivalent. I also note that this enchantment only affects the controller, not all players, so even if your opponent was running a burn deck, it wouldn't help.

The idea behind this card was already done in Transcendance.

Neither one would allow for mana burn. The original says the mana pool doesn't empty, a la a one-sided Upwelling. Shmn's version just says you can't take mana burn.

That was an intended drawback in my version. Also, if you play any disenchant or permanent sacrifice effects such as Seal Of Cleansing, suicide becomes much less attractive an option for the opponent.
