So I read Saffi Eriksdotter and I immediately thought of Mogg Fanatic. Is it only good for that first time it goes to the yard that turn or every subsequent time? Set me straight on the rulings can you?

Card Name: Saffi Eriksdotter
Mana Cost: GW
Card Color: Gld
Type & Class: Legendary Creature - Human Scout
Pow/Tou: 2/2
Card Text: Sacrifice Saffi Eriksdotter: When target creature is put into your graveyard from play this turn, return that card to play.
Rarity: R
Flavor Text:
Artist:
Card #: 254/301

Mogg Fanatic
We all should know this one.

I saw the official card and it's worded the same with no end of turn clause or anything.

Basically, when a card leaves a zone and returns to it, it is considered a new object. When a Mogg Fanatic is returned to play by this ability, it is a "new" Mogg Fanatic.

Quote from: Comprehensive Rules
217.1c An object that moves from one zone to another is treated as a new object. Effects connected with its previous location will no longer affect it. There are two exceptions to this rule: Effects that edit the characteristics of an artifact, creature, or enchantment spell on the stack will continue to apply to the permanent that spell creates, and abilities that trigger when an object moves from one zone to another (for example, “When Rancor is put into a graveyard from play”) can find the object in the zone it moved to when the ability triggered.

Saffi's ability only "tracks" the Mogg Fanatic long enough for it to reach the graveyard in order to return it to play. Once the Fanatic returns to play, it is no longer affected by Saffi's ability.
