Harvest of the Blood Moon - {1} {R}

Enchantment - Aura

Enchant permanent.

The player with the most nonbasics controls enchanted permanent.

At the beginning of your upkeep, Harvest of the Blood Moon does X damage to the controller of enchanted permanent where X is the number of nonbasic lands that player controls.

The basic thought behind this card is red can have a pull of the tides too.  This one is much stronger than the other one and affinity isn't as natural in this one.

Current incarnation:

Harvest of the Blood Moon - {2} {R}

Enchantment - Aura

Enchant nonbasic land.

At the end of your turn, Harvest of the Blood Moon does X damage to the controller of enchanted permanent where X is the number of nonbasic lands that player controls.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that I would love input on this card good or bad.  No attention is bad attention and that makes me sad..

Is this too strong?  Just right?  The dumbest goddamn thing?  What?

I just plain don't like it. Pull of the Tides was very elegant. All of its pieces worked together perfectly. This is just an overpowered nonbasic hoser. It has no flavor at all.

How about choosing a non-legend creature? Otherwise he is a UG instant Wrath of Frog.

I agree, I like it, but it's just an overpowered nonbasic hoser, and the wording needs clearing up, i mean, whats with "The player with the most nonbasics controls enchanted permanent."? Maybe make them gain control of it at the beginning of their upkeep or something.

The card is ment to be two fold, either nonbasic hate or a double edged permanent steal.  This depends of course exactly how the deck running it is built.  I upped the cost to better suite it.

I still don't have a handle on this thing's viability.  Hrm.

Seeing as you took off the stealing part of it, it's kind of just one thing now.
