Putting the "ew" in Jew since '87!

Yea, I'm pretty bored. So lets talk about Boston. The New Yorker's arch nemesis, I hate the way the streets are shaped, I hate the price on EVERYTHING, and I hate the college jocks getting all the hotties(and boy were there a lot of them).
So I haven't played a game of magic since TML and before that Waterbury. Watevar, I'll run the Boomerman pile again. Thank's a bunch to Charles for sheltering me on his floor Friday night after the evil Chinatown Bus leaves me who knows where at like 4 am.
Funny story. I open my deck box when I get in Boston, heh it's B/R Goblins from TML. Woopsie, insane in the membrane thanks (mostly Ray, and Kyle) to everyone who helped me get my deck together for Day 1 and Day 2.
So I played this pile:
Null Rod please own me cards:
2 Aether Spellbomb 1 Black Lotus 1 Engineered Explosives 1 Mox Emerald 1 Mox Jet 1 Mox Pear 1 Mox Ruby 1 Mox Sapphire 1 Pithing Needle 1 Sensei's Divining Top (OMG SO GOOD) 1 Sol Ring 1 Tormod's Crypt
More bad cards:
3 Auriok Salvagers 4 Trinket Mage
Instants 1 Ancestral Recall 4 Brainstorm 2 Cunning Wish 4 Force Of Will 4 Mana Drain 3 Mana Leak 4 Thirst For Knowledge
Sorceries 1 Time Walk
Basic Lands 5 Island 1 Plains
Lands 4 Flooded Strand 1 Library Of Alexandria 1 Polluted Delta 1 Strip Mine 4 Tundra
Sideboard: 2 Chalice Of The Void 1 Tormod's Crypt 3 Meddling Mage 3 Threads Of Disloyalty 1 Brain Freeze 1 Disenchant 1 Fact Or Fiction 1 Misdirection 1 Orim's Chant 1 Swords To Plowshares
Day 1 I played the same list minus the top minus two CoV for two Flux in the board and a Spellbomb in the main. Day 1 started off strong with my matches looking like this:
Round 1 Bomberman 2-1 win Round 2 Slaver Draw Round 3 Mike Pise with Gifts 2-1 win Round 4 Slaver Loss 2-1 Round 5 Worse than Grow 2-0 win Round 6 Fishies 2-0 win Round 7 Gifts loss 2-1
How LAME! I would have probably taken 9th anyway since my tiebreakers were the worst. I deserved it, I wasn't really in the mood I was more in the mood of the 4-0 drop so I just was wishy washy with an extremely difficult deck as it is.
So TK sticks me, Kyle, Nate, Sundering Jerk, and Mike in hotel. I pass out early after flooding the bathroom and I wake up with TK's lucious hair in my hands. With that said, I decided to Top 8, and we all know when I want to do well, I mean business.
Lets Dance: Round 1: Slaver player with Long hair. This guy really like Jester's Cap against Salvagers. He is busting it out game 1 and 2 on my ass. Game one I draw lots of lands. Walk a Fact Or Fiction into a Mana Drain and my back up threat get's countered as well. Nice steam from my part. Game 2 He caps me twice basically taking out oodles of good cards including all my Salvagers. So I go into Trinket mode. Sensei's Diving Top ensures countermagic on the top of my deck. Game 3 Engineered Explosives=3 for 1. Owned those moxes in the face. 1-0
Round 2: U/R/W Fish (I think?) Game 1 involves lots of lame creatures like Cloud of Faeries which provides the same amount of tempo in my opinion as Vulshok Sorcerer, and Ninja of The Deep Hours. Those guys got nothing on Auriok Salvagers which proceeds to combo out on his face. Game 2 involves him going down to five cards. I just take my time and go Trinket beats FTW. 2-0
Round 3: Jeff Folinus or Paul Mastiano with Pitch Long (Don't really know who is who) Game 1 is un savage with me dumping down a turn one Salvagers and him fizzing with a turn one Jar. I dump Lotus in my yard and proceed to pwn bitches off chaining TFK's. Game 2 is another game of rapage. I get Chalice Of The Voids, Meddling Mage and Tormod's Crypt's. He scoops it up after telling me he boarded out Chain Of Vapor. 3-0
Round 4: EBA<3 This deck is on fire since it's excellent showing at Waterbury. Except his list didn't look too good, neither did his sideboarding strategies. Exalted Angel isn't so hot against decks with Aether Spellbomb : / His disruption is very undisrupting, as his build doesn't run Mana Drain which is hawt. 4-0
Round 5: Simon with Bobherman Again with these mirror shenanigans. Game 1 is silly, with me Cumming Wishing for a STP on a Confidant and us playing dorks back and forth. He taps out for a Salvagers with a Lotus in yard and I lay my own Salvagers down with a Lotus out, le savage. Game 2 First turn flipped Erayo and Dark Confidant. Great. I almost get into the game after getting an Engineered Explosives but wastes and Strips own me. Game 3 Another le savage game with guys trading left and right. He gets a PAIR of Salvagers down, I STP one and the board gets cleared eventually. I Threads of Disloyalty a Dark Confidant FTW.
Round 6: I offer Mike to play it out but he declines, we draw
Some scouting, I let Herbig pound me with Ashok's Goblins.
Round 7: Draw with random CS player
Now me and Feinstein are testing for our super stardom top 8 match that never happens. I woop his ass a little.
Top 8: Herbig Savageness
Game 1 is awful. I die slowly. If I saw a Mana Leak, I would have had a shot probably. But instead I Trinket Mage for something irrelevant at that point. Game 2 involves a Chalice for one just shutting like 5 cards in his hand down. My combo sucks anyway. Game 3 is a close one, it involves him Mind's Desiring for 11 meaning it wasn't close at all. I did have a Chalice for one out, but it doesn't matter at that point. I almost make his Desire fizzle but I hit a Tendrils on 6th or 7th card.
I'm still suprised at how few American's are playing this deck. It's insanely good. I think I might put it down for a bit since I have one or two other crazy ideas to work on. I love the fact the deck can play as a true control deck, or an aggro deck, or even combo (god forbid). It's certainly still rough around the edges too and has plenty of room for improvement (extra color, different deck, etc.).
Props: James Lee for driving me home. Ray and Kyle for giving me the money cards. Tommy for being dead sexy. Feinstein for being the funniest and most entertaining man alive. Travis Laplante for being the second funniest and second most entertaining man alive.
Slops: The Chinatown bus. Myself. The screaming shits, Herbig got to experience them. Nate for snoring like a wilderbeast.

This report needs more titties. With dinner plate sized areolas.
While I don't necessarily disagree with that particular sentiment, I would inform you that both your posts so far are seriously lacking in content. Both were inappropriate (and as such were reported by other users), but I'm not giving you an official warning yet because they weren't flamebait in the strict sense. Consider this a friendly reminder, and know that we are keeping an eye on you.

How the hell did that happen by the way? His deck was like a Ruby away from being Legacy legal and had no disruption whatsoever. Good games man and I'll see you at the next one of these things.
