Let's say I have a Thrumming Stone in play and I play a Sudden Shock(from TS). Can I then play more Sudden Shocks from the Ripple?
Card Texts:
Thrumming Stone:
Spells you control have Ripple 4.
(When you play a spell, you may reveal the top four cards of your library. You may play any of the revealed cards if they have the same name as the original spell. Put the rest on the bottom of your library.)
Sudden Shock:
Split Second
(Players can't play spells or activated abilities)
~ deals 2 damage to target creature or player.

The ability will trigger and resolve. You will be able to search, but even if you come across a spell of the same name, you will not be able to play it.
103.2. When a rule or effect says something can happen and another effect says it can’t, the “can’t” effect wins. For example, if one effect reads “You may play an additional land this turn” and another reads “You can’t play land cards this turn,” the effect that keeps you from playing lands wins out. Note that adding abilities to objects and removing abilities from objects don’t fall under this rule. See rule 407, “Adding and Removing Abilities.”
Split second does not stop triggered abilities from going on the stack and resolving. When it resolves, it will do as much as possible, which means you can do everything but play the spell.
