There were 39 players so that makes the biggest Legacy event in our country this far. The field was really diverse with Goblins, BW, Threshold and many versions of Landstill being most presented. There were at least two Solidarities, two Iggy Pops, one Gamekeeper/Salvagers and one Aluren, but none of these made top 8. I for myself scrubbed out with Aluren as my deck failed to give me any lands at times and myself failing to play tight to enough when it mattered.

[EDIT:]Added Jari's sideboard.

Hey there, thanks for this detailed report. We are always interested in what is happening in Legacy around the globe.

There seems to be a lot of BW Confidant variants showing up. Do you know how many of them played in the field of 39? I have a couple of more questions for you. Was this 6 rounds of Swiss (for 32-63 players), or did you add an extra round like they seem to be doing at Pro Tour and 'Championship' events now? Also, do you know if there was any Madness or Life From the Loam based decks present (such as The Dutch Connection's "TerraGeddon" that just won the Dutch Legacy Championship)?

There was six rounds of swiss. There were at least two Madness decks and one TerraGeddon with mediocre finishs. There might have been 4 to 5 BW decks total, and overall they did very well (most made T8).
