Well, now comes Orzhov, one of the more difficult ones:

{3} {W} {B}
Enchantment- [subtype]
Whenever a creature is put into a graveyard from play, you gain 3 life.
Pay 3 life: Draw a card.

The two abilities are roughly related to each other, but it really bothers me that this card would be similiar if it read "Whenever a creature is put into a graveyard from play, draw a card" which is VERY green. I could make the first ability trigger on permanents, but that way it would greatly improve.

{3} {W} {B}
Enchantment- [subtype]
Whenever a permanent is put into a graveyard from play, you gain 1 life.
Pay 3 life: Draw a card.

or

{3} {W} {B}
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may pay {2} {W}. If you do, gain X life where X is equal to the number of cards in your hand.
{2} {B}, pay 1 life: Draw a card.

make each creature give you two life, and make it read pay 3 or 4 life to draw a card, that way, it fits black's 2 for 1 disadvantage/advantage themes.

Just out of curiosity, does the enchantment subtype have any effect on any of these cards? Like, something happens for each [subtype] you control or something? If not, why subtype?

Yep, it will have some interactions, like the Honden-subtype, just not on the cards itself. I'm thinking, for example, about alternate ways of putting them into play/into your hand (think Dark Supplicant). Also, an idea I already talked about is referring to this (Ravnica Sowjet, which will be an artifact putting a 1/1 five-coloured token into play for each [subtype] you control, being one itself.)That's why I need a subtype.
