Oh man, we could totally come out and play for the same Sapphire we did last time!  I love playing for the same prize multiple times.  The Michigan chapter of GWS will be playing this one by ear.

Gotta bump this up--we're less than a week away.

The store is pretty easy to get to from almost any direction, but if anyone needs instructions, feel free to ask me.  Plus, it's in Sandusky's historic Waterfront District, and if you go Ornithopter, there's a pretty good bar & grille across the street.

I think Paul and I can make it back down.  We'll try to drag the Kabuto Moth with us too...

I got too wasted on booze to go to Columbus on the 3rd, so I will be driving from Toledo to go ornithopter at this tourney.

I'm out.  Being a Grad student means I can't just take off and do whatever.  I have to stay home and do important things this weekend.

Sweet, one less combo deck to worry about.

I understand school work. I had to be my alter ego, Super Report Man, this past week cause I had so many due for school. Oh well maybe the Michigan contingent can make it to the next one.

Not only did I have a great time at this event, I want to commend the TO for paying out the prize in FULL with only 9 people in attendance.  This being the week of finals for many students really seemed to hurt attendance  but the TO came through with a fresh confitiona blue mox.

*applause*

I will be attending each and every subsequent event at this store if I have to call of work to attend(which I dont Wink )

No doubt.  Dave Baum, the Gamer's Lounge owner, is seriously a stand-up guy.  Our four-round tournament took almost 10 hours, thanks to Twaun taking advantage of the "no time-limits" policy I had set up (my bad, never again), and it was awesome.   I'll put the results/decklists up later tonight when I get back to Columbus and have a computer with a fully-functioning space bar.

We're planning on having another event in January on the 13th or 14th (possibly not for a Mox, unfortunately).

Thanks to all of you who came out for your patience and dedication.  And thanks to Dave for throwing himself on the grenade of low turnout and giving away the Sapphire anyway.

Awesome.

See you at the next one.
