Mike Spencer won the Preregistration Bonus Dual Land.

Mike Spencer won the Best Deck Name Prize for "I just wanted to make Dan say testicles"

The T-Shirt Challenge continued to be popular. I played 5 games and we gave away 4 Myriad Games T-Shirts. Thanks to everyone who participated. For those of you who did not win this time, thank you for playing. Those of you who haven't won a T-shirt can try again next time.

Our New Player Bonus Booster Pack was also popular. We had nine new players and each of them received a Free Booster Pack along with anyone who brought a new player (limit one per person).

Every player that wanted one received one of Sara's famous Myriad Games Magical Mana Cookies! We even had special holiday cookies for this tournament.

Myriad Games will be hosting our next Vintage Tournament on January 6th!

I would definitely like to hear about Brassman's Gifts deck a little more..TimeTwister? Empty the Warrens, etc. Definitely looks interesting though. Single Dark Ritual in Gifts is totally good, btw. That's a lot of Gifts in the top 8!  Congratulations to all the players that did well. I love when results come up from these tournaments. Also note that all Gifts lists except for Brassman's were Menendian's lists.

I have a hard time believing that the deck can run with so little disruption.

The Mana Drains in Brassman's build are indeed listed, between Mox Emerald and Mystical Tutor. I find it easiest to type up the lists as they are written, rather than reorganizing mana sources.  You can definitely tell which decks were typed and which were written up.

It was essentially 5 control decks (4 Gifts, 1 Control Slaver) and 2 Fish and 1 TMWA.

This does certainly lend credence to the predominance of Gifts in the upper tables.

Once again this was a well run tourney, filled with good players and a plethora of new to vintage players. I personally would like to thank all new players for coming out, and sincerely hope all of them will return next month.

On a lighter note, I won the deck name challenge as posted above, but I should warn others that it was kind of in inside joke. Dan has already stated that at the next tourney, if anyone tries using vulgarity (even if it might be considered amusing) he won't use the deck name. The joke was funny once Ladies and Gentlemen, but only once.

Ah i missed it, i usually assume that the last part of the deck is the mana base, so i probably just overlooked it.
