I think this is an instance of taking equal rights one step too far.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department already permits people who are blind or visually impaired to hunt in Texas. But laser sights are prohibited because officials say it does not give the animal the benefit of "fair chase."

Maybe they should blind the deer, too by introducing introduce myxomatosis in the population. That way, EVERYONE has a "fair chase"  -.-

Also: the phenomenon of "blind hunters" seems like a self-regulating system, if you know what I mean...
